2、IGeneralProvisionsArticle1 TheseRegulationsareformulatedinaccordancewiththeEducationLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChina,theVocationalEducationLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaandtheLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaonPromotionofPrivately-RunSchoolsforthepurposesofstandardizingChinese-foreigncooperationin

3、runningschools,strengtheninginternationalexchangeandcooperationinthefieldofeducationandpromotingthedevelopmentoftheeducationalcause.Article2 TheseRegulationsapplytotheactivitiesofthecooperationbetweenforeigneducationalinstitutionsandChineseeducationalinstitutions(hereinafterreferredtoasChinesean

4、dforeigncooperatorsinrunningschools)inestablishingeducationalinstitutions(hereinafterreferredtoasChinese-foreigncooperatively-runschools)withintheterritoryofChinatoprovideeducationservicemainlytoChinesecitizens.Article3 Chinese-foreigncooperationinrunningschoolsisanundertakingbeneficialtopublici

5、nterestsandformsacomponentofChina'seducationalcause.　　ForChinese-foreigncooperationinrunningschools,theStateadoptsthepoliciesofopeningwidertotheoutsideworld,standardizationofrunningschools,exercisingadministrationaccordingtolawandpromotingitsdevelopment.　　TheStateencouragesChinese-foreigncoopera

6、tioninrunningschoolstowhichhigh-qualityforeigneducationalresourcesareintroduced.　　TheStateencouragesChinese-foreigncooperationinrunningschoolsinthefieldofhighereducationandvocationaleducation,andencouragesChineseinstitutionsofhigherlearningtocooperatewithrenownedforeigninstitutionsofhigherlearni

7、nginrunningschools.Article4 ThelegalrightsandinterestsofChineseandforeigncooperatorsinrunningschoolsandofChinese-foreigncooperatively-runschoolsshallbeprotectedbythelawsofChina.　　Chinese-foreigncooperatively-runschoolsshalle
