3、passageintotheglobalinformationageaneraofgreatAmericanrenewal. InalltheworkIhavedoneaspresident,everydecisionIhavemade,everyexecutiveactionIhavetaken,everybillIhaveproposedandsigned,I'vetriedtogiveallAmericansthetoolsandconditionstobuildthefutureofourdreams,
4、inagoodsociety,withastrongeconomy,acleanerenvironment,andafreer,safer,moreprosperousworld. Ihavesteeredmycoursebyourenduringvalues.Opportunityforall.Responsibilityfromall.AcommunityofallAmericans.IhavesoughttogiveAmericaanewkindofgovernment,smaller,moremoder
5、n,moreeffective,fullofideasandpoliciesappropriatetothisnewtime,alwaysputtingpeoplefirst,alwaysfocusingonthefuture. Workingtogether,Americahasdonewell.Oureconomyisbreakingrecords,withmorethan22millionnewjobs,thelowestunemploymentin30years,thehighesthomeowners
6、hipever,thelongestexpansioninhistory. Ourfamiliesandcommunitiesarestronger.Thirty-fivemillionAmericanshaveusedthefamilyleavelaw.Eightmillionhavemovedoffwelfare.Crimeisata25-yearlow.Over10millionAmericansreceivemorecollegeaid,andmorepeoplethaneveraregoingtoco
7、llege.Ourschoolsarebetter——higherstandards,greateraccountabilityandlargerinvestmentshavebroughthighertestscores,andhighergraduationrates. Morethanthreemillionchildrenhavehealthinsurancenow,andmorethan7millionAmericanshavebeenliftedoutofpoverty.Incomesarerisi
8、ngacrosstheboard.Ourairandwaterarecleaner.Ourfoodanddrinkingwateraresafer.Andmoreofourpreciouslandhasbeenpreserved,inthecontinentalUnitedStates,thanatanytimein100years. Americahasbeenafo
