4、ngerexpress,shejudgedfromitsspeed.Shecarriedmorebagsintothehouse. Thesoundsofthetrainapparentlydrewtheboys'attentiontothetrack.Aftermakingtheirwaythroughthetrees,theyclimbedtothetopofthesteeproadbed,kneltdownalongtherailroadandbegantoplay. Afewthousandfeetwest,afreighttrainr
5、olledslowlytowardthechildren.OverheadlightssignaledtoengineerRichCampanathatthepassengertrainaheadwasoutoftheway,andtheycouldresumetheirnormalspeedof40milesperhour.Theengineeradjustedtheaccelerator,thenturnedtoconductorAnthonyFalzo,aman,mediuminheightandstronglybuilt,whohadworkedforConr
