2、edonline:29November2006©Springer-Verlag2006AbstractTheFLCgeneproductisaninhibitorof(cabbage;vernalizationtype),whichcovered540cM,9XoweringinArabidopsis.FLChomologsinBrassicamajorlinkagegroups.Sixquantitativetraitloci(QTL)speciesarethoughttocontrolvernalization.WeclonedcontrollingXoweringtim

3、eweredetected.BoFLC1,fourFLChomologs(BoFLCs)fromBrassicaoleracea.BoFLC3andBoFLC5werenotlinkedtotheQTLsThreeofthese,BoFLC1,BoFLC3andBoFLC5,havecontrollingXoweringtime.However,thelargestQTLbeenpreviouslycharacterized.ThefourthnoveleVectwaslocatedintheregionwhereBoFLC2wassequencedisplayed98%se

4、quencehomologytothemapped.GenotypingofF2plantsattheBoFLC2locuspreviouslyidentiWedgeneBoFLC4,butalsoshowedshowedthatmostoftheearlyXoweringplantswere91%homologytoBrFLC2fromBrassicarapa.Phylo-homozygotesofBoFLC-GC,whereasmostofthelate-geneticanalysisshowedthatthisclonebelongstotheandnon-Xoweri

5、ngplantswerehomozygotesofFLC2clade.Therefore,wedesignatedthisgeneBoFLC-Rei.TheBoFLC2homologspresentinplantsBoFLC2.BasedonthesegregationofRFLP,SRAP,ofthenon-vernalizationtypewerenon-functional,dueCAPS,SSRandAFLPloci,adetailedlinkagemapoftoaframeshiftinexon4.Moreover,duplicationsandB.oleracea
