3、andPart3applytothisinsurance.Parts2and3shallbethosecurrentatthedateofinceptionofthisinsurance.Clauses37-41ofPart2shallonlyapplywheretheUnderwritershaveexpresslysoagreedinwriting.1.2ThisinsuranceissubjecttoEnglishlawandpractice.1.3Thisinsuranceissubjecttotheexclusivejurisdict
4、ionoftheEnglishHighCourtofJustice,exceptasmaybeexpresslyprovidedhereintothecontrary.1.4Ifanyprovisionofthisinsuranceisheldtobeinvalidorunenforceable,suchinvalidityorunenforceabilitywillnotaffecttheotherprovisionsofthisinsurance,whichshallremaininfullforceandeffect.2PERILS2.1
5、Thisinsurancecoverslossofordamagetothesubject-matterinsuredcausedby2.1.1perilsoftheseas,rivers,lakesorothernavigablewaters2.1.2fire,explosion2.1.3violenttheftbypersonsfromoutsidethevessel2.1.4jettison2.1.5piracy2.1.6contactwithlandconveyance,dockorharbourequipmentorinstallat
6、ion2.1.7earthquake,volcaniceruptionorlightning2.1.8accidentsinloading,dischargingorshiftingcargo,fuel,storesorparts2.1.9contactwithsatellites,aircraft,helicoptersorsimilarobjects,orobjectsfallingtherefrom.2.2Thisinsurancecoverslossofordamagetothesubjectmatterinsuredcausedby2
7、.2.1burstingofboilersorbreakageofshaftsbutdoesnotcoveranyofthecostsofrepairingorreplacingtheboilerwhichburstsortheshaftwhichbreaks2.2.2anylatentdefectinthemachineryorhull,butdoesnotcoveranyofthecostsofcorrectingthelatentdefect2.2.3negligenceofMaster,Officers,CreworPilots2.2.
