2、ectormeson(ρ,ω,φ)productioninpp,p+PbandPb+Pbcollisionsat158AGeV.Themodelreproducesthegeneraltrendsofthedata,butfailsindescribingtheyieldofhigh-pTvectormesonsinthecentralPb+Pbcollisions.PredictionsforIn+Inandp+A(AvaryingfromBetoU)collisionsat158AGeVarealsopresented.1Introductio
3、nTheenhancementofthestrangequarkproductioninheavyioncollisions,inparticular,theenhancedyieldofφmesonrelativetonon-strangeρandωmesonsissuggestedasapossiblesignatureofquark-gluonplasma(QGP)formation[1,2].Ontheotherhand,suchanenhancementisalsopredictedbyconventional(noQGP)models,
4、inparticular,bytheLUCIAE[3],anupdatedversionoftheFRITIOFmodel[4,5].Thefirstandmostdetailedexperimentaldataonthelightvectormeson(ρ,ω,φ)productioninnuclearcollisionsareobtainedattheCERNSPS.However,uptonownoattemptwasundertakentodescribesimultaneouslythesedataintheframeworkofauniq
5、ueapproach.InthisNote,theLUCIAEmodelisemployed(withsomewhatupdatedparameters)tocomparethetheoreticalpredictionswiththeexistingdataonφand(ρ+ω)productioninpp,p+PbandPb+Pbcollisionsat158AGeV[6,7].InSection2,theparametersgoverningthestrangeparticleyieldandthetransversemomentumdist
6、ributionofproducedhadronsaredescribed.Section3isdevotedtothecomparisonofthemodelpredictionswithexperimentaldata.PredictionsforIn+Inandp+A(AvaryingfromBetoU)collisionsarealsopresented.TheresultsaresummarizedinSection4.2ThemodelparametersThechoiceoftheLUCIAEmodelparametersgovern
