3、edforaccurateextractionofthecharacteristicfunctionstheresonatorsaswellasthecouplingelements.Therefore,ofacoupled-resonatordiplexerwitharesonanttypeofjunctionmanualtuningisnecessaryintheproductionprocesstomeetfromnoise-contaminatedmeasurementdata.MVFinherits
4、allthemeritsofthevector-fitting(VF)methodandcanalsostipulatethestringentsystemspecifications.Traditionally,thetuningtheorderofthenumeratorofthemodel.Thus,MVFissuitableisaccomplishedbyskilledtechnologiststhroughconsecutiveforthehigh-orderdiplexersystemidentific
5、ationproblemagainstmanualadjustmentsbasedontheiryearsofaccumulatedmeasurementnoise.Withtheextractedcharacteristicfunctions,experience.Tuningacoupled-resonatordevicewithacomplexathree-porttransversalcouplingmatrixofadiplexercanbecouplingtopologyisademanding,
6、time-consuming,andcostlysynthesized.Amatrixorthogonaltransformationstrategyisalsoproposedtotransformtheobtainedtransversalmatrixtoatargetprocess.Acomputer-aidedtuning(CAT)toolthatcanidentifycouplingmatrixconfiguration,whoseentrieshaveone-to-onethoseunsatisfy
7、ingcouplingvaluesanddeterministicallyguiderelationshipwiththephysicaltuningelements.Thewholemodelthetuningprocessishighlyappreciatedinthemicrowaveextractionprocedureisanalyticalandrobust,andcanbeusedinindustry.WithsuchaCATtool,thetuningprocesswilldependacom
8、puter-aidedtuning(CAT)programforcoupled-resonatormuchlessonhumanexperienceandthecostoftheproductiondiplexers.Apracticaltuningexampleofadiplexerwithacom-monresonatorisgivenindetailtodemonstratetheeffect
