2、9506366v120Jun1995colorconfinementisrealizedthroughthedualHiggsmechanismbyQCD-monopolecondensation.Weobtainageneralanalyticformulaforthestringtension.Acompactformulaisderivedforthescreenedinter-quarkpotentialinthepresenceoflightdynamicalquarks.TheQCDphasetransitionatfinitet
3、emperatureisstudiedusingtheeffectivepotentialformalism.ThestringtensionandtheQCD-monopolemassarelargelyreducednearthecriticaltemperature,Tc.ThesurfacetensionisestimatedfromtheeffectivepotentialatTc.Weproposealsoanewscenarioofthequark-gluon-plasmacreationthroughthecolor-elec

6、enpaidfortheanalogybetweenthesupercon-ductorandtheQCDvacuum.3Similartothesuperconductivity,4thecolor-electricfluxseemstobeexcludedintheQCDvacuum,whichleadstheformationofthesqueezedcolor-fluxtubebetweencolorsources.Inthisanalogy,colorconfinementisbroughtbythedualMeissnereffect
7、origi-natedfromcolor-magneticmonopolecondensation,whichcorrespondstoCooper-paircondensationinthesuperconductivity.Asfortheappearanceofcolor-magneticmonopolesinQCD,’tHooft5proposedaninterestingideaoftheabeliangaugefix-ing,whichisdefinedbythediagonalizationofagauge-dependentv
