1、UnitedStatesPatent6,510,797FongJanuary28,2003SegmentedkineticenergyexplosivelyformedpenetratorassemblyAbstractAsegmented,kineticenergyprojectileisformedbystackingseverallinersinasinglewarhead,foreffectivelyproducingalongerpenetratorcapableofgreatlyenhancingpenetration.Eachindividuallinerf
2、ormsaseparatepenetrator,sothatthelinersaresuccessivelyfiredandallowforagreateroveralltargetpenetration.Inoneembodiment,theflightpathofatleastonelinerisdivertedfromtheflightpathsoftheotherliners,sothatthelinerscouldattackseveraladjacenttargetsorprovidemultiplepenetrations.TheEFPassemblyhas
3、theadditionalcapabilityofutilizingasinglewarheadthatincorporatesmultiplehitsmechanisms.TheEFPassemblyincludesmultiplelinersthatareseparatedbymultipleseparators.Theseparatorsarenon-symmetricallydisposedrelativetoeachother,inordertodivertthelinerstowardmultipletargets.Thelinersaredivertedfr
