2、——————一一一ABSTRACTMethaneisaprincipalcomponentofnaturalgas.Withthelackofcrudeoiiresourcesintheworld,thedevelopmentofmethaneutilizationasthefeedstock.insteadofcrudeoil,fortheproductionofchemicalhasbeenextensivelvstudied.Theapplicationofplasmatechnologyiscontinuouslygrowinginchemistry,metallurgy,mic
3、roelectronics,andenvironmentalprotection.Generally,twoverydifferentkindsofplasmaareusedforresearchandindustrialapplications:hotquasi-equilibriumplasmasandcoldnon—equilibriumplasmas.Oneofthechallengensofmodemplasmachemistryistounitetheadvancesofthesetwoverydifferentplasmasystems.Mostofthelarge。sca
4、leplasmachemicalapplicationsrequirehighpowerandhighpressureforhighreactorproductivity.Itisalsoimportanttohaveahighdegreeofnon。equilibriumwithhighelectrontemperatureanddensitytosuppogselectivechemicalprocesses.Therefore,itisnecessarytohaveapowerfuldschargethatgeneratesnon-equilibriumplasmaforchemi
5、calapplicationswithbothhighefficiencyandselectivity.Inthisstudy,thenon‘thermalequilibriumarcdischargeandDBDexperimentswereinvestigatedthroughthemeasurements.Themethanecouplingreactionandcarbondioxidereformingmethanereactionwereperformed.Theresultsofthemethaneconversioninthosetwoplasmasshowedthatn
