1、ABSTRACTSincechinaadoptedreformandopeningpolicy,privately-ownedsmall-and-medium-sizeenterprise(PSME)haverapidlydeveloped,andareplayingmoreandmoreimportantrolesinnationaleconomy.However,theirperformancewasnottakenintoaccountofacademeequally,lackofacademicattentions,butonlysomestudiesonoperati
2、onalaspects.MostofthePSMEhavethefeatureslikesmallinsize,shortinresources,noadvantagesinrespectofhumanresource,fundandassets.Therefore,tostudythereasonsoftheirrapiddevelopmentmuststartfromotherdirection,thesocialcapital.Thisessaytakesaimatstudyingexistingeconomy-sociologicaltheoryofsocialcapi
3、tal,discussesvariousimpactsofsocialcapitalonPSMEattheirfoundinganddevelopingstageswithsomecasestudies.Theprimaryideaofthisessaydosenotmeantogiveoutanythingoddorexceptive,buttofocusonstructureandfunctionsofthesocialcapital,definingitassomekindofintangibleassetstoallocatemarketresource.Itcomes
4、andaccumulatesfromindividualororganization'sinteractionsandcommunications,existinginformslike"Guanxi","socialnetwork",and"trust".Thedefinitionemphasizesonitsfunction,flexibilityandinitiativeofindividualandorganizationincreatingsocialcapital.Thesocialcapitalappearswideandstableinindividualand
5、organization'sinteractions.Incasestudies,interviewstofounderandownerofcompanyDaZhongpropertieswillgivesusideasofvariousimpactsofsocialcapitalattheirfoundinganddevelopingstages,andthesetup,lossandcontroloftrustwhichisoneoftheimportantcomponentsofsocialcapital.Thestudiesshow,undernon-matureeco
