4、sedmotorization.Inspiteofthefactthatvariousinvestigationsconcerningcar-pedestrianimpactshavebeensimulatedtoavoidfatalinjuriesinbothdevelopedanddevelopingcountries,itisalarmingthatpedestrianinjuriesposehealthrisks.Arealworldaccidentcasewithmedicalexaminationreco
5、rdwouldimprovethereliabilityofsimulationofcar-pedestrianaccidentbutisrarelycaptured.Theaimofthisthesiswastoassessthepedestrianinjuries,impactlocations,andexpandthesimulatedcar-pedestrianscenarioforfurtheranalysisofinjuriesofpedestrianmodelimpactedbyfrontright,f
6、rontcenter,andfrontleftsideofthecar.Amongseveralcomputerprogramsthatcanbeusedforthereconstructionofcar-pedestriancollisions,MAthematicalDYnamicMOdels(MADYMO)programwasadoptedfortheevaluationofpedestrianinjury,andmodel’sbiofedelity.Acaseofpedestrianimpactedbyaca
7、rmovingwithspeedof22km/hrwassimulatedusingMADYMOprogramtoassesspedestrianinjuriesandimpactlocations.Duringpedestrianimpactwithfrontrightside,theresultsshowedthatAIS1headinjuryandAIS2toefracturearecausedbypedestrianimpactwithwindshieldandrightwheelofthecar.Thema
