2、gorithmforcalculatingbackgroundwasdevelopedinthisdissertation,andthemovingtargetswereextractedusingbackgrounddifferencingmethod.Thebackgroundwasupdatedbasedontheresultsofmovingtargetdetectionbyreplacingthebackupbackground.ThealgorithmcanbeappliedtotheIntelligentTransportSystem.Aft
3、erdetectingthemovingvehides,theirshadowwasremovedbygraycharacteristics.Thenaccordingtotexturecharacteristics,thevehicleswereseparatedindriveways.Thevehiclesamountwasacquiredbymatchingimagesoquenees.Experimentalresultsdemonstratedthatthealgorithmcancountthevehiclesaccuratelybothins
4、traightandroundroadway,andtheaccuracyratewasabove97%.ThealgorithmcallalsobeappliedtotheIntelligentSurveillanceSystem.Throughidentifyingthemovingtargetsinasecretlocale,thevideowassavedintelligently.Thecarry—overinainvolutelocalewasdetectedusingthespacestability.Theintruderinaappoin
5、tedregionwasdetectedandtrackedusingtheregulationchangeofthecenterofitsmass.Experimentsshowedthatthealgorithmcancorrectlydealwiththesethreemonitoringsurveillancemodds.ThewholeprocessingmodulewasdevelopedonWindowsXPsystemwiththeapplicationofMicrosoftVisualC++6.0.usingtheMIASfunction
