3、imsofourcountry’Sindustrialization．Ourserviceindustryhasprogressedgreatly,butitisstillbackward，whichisdisproportionatewiththewholedevelopingsituationofoureconomy．Atthesame，ourserviceindustryhasdevelopedunbalancedacrossthecountry．Soresearchingthespringofthegrowthofserviceindustryandfindingt

4、hefactorsresultinginthedifferenceamongdistrictsareveryimportantforthesustainabledevelopment．Thispaperisbasedontheservicesectorproductivity．Bystudyingtheserviceactualities，usingthe2000-2005paneldata，takingtheregionaldifferencesasthebreakthroughpoint，westudytheproductionfrontierwiththenewmet

5、hodRTFA．Atlast，wegettheservicesectorsproductionproductivity,alsocalledthetotalfactorproductivity(TFP)，whichcanbedividedintotechnicalefficiencyandtechnicalprogress．Wefindthattherearegreatregionaldifferences，causedbydifferentreasons．WegoonanempiricalstudyaboutthefactorseffectingTFP,technical

6、efficiencyandtechnicalprogresswithpaneldata．Theresultssuggest：Firstly,servicesectorproductivityisrelatedwiththeoperationofthenationaleconomy．ThegrowthofGDPispositivecorrelatedwiththegrowthofTFEAnditisrealizedbytheprogressingoftechnicalefficiency．Secondly,thelevelofurbanizationhasasignifica

7、ntimpactontheproductivityandbothoftwoparts．Itisthemostimportantfactoraffectingtheproductivity．．．Thirdly,anotherfactoristhedegreeofmarketizationComparedwiththetechnicalefficiency,itisdonebyincreasingthetechnicalprogress．So，theeasternregienwithhigherdegreeofmarketizationhashigherproductivity
