3、yandhighereducationElementary.Classesofstudentsaredividedintotwelveacademiclevelscalledgrades.Generally,oneacademicyear(fromSeptemberthroughJune)isrequiredtocompleteeachgrade.Academicwork-learningtoread,write,andalsoarithmetic-beginswhenthechildentersfirstgrade,ataboutagesi
4、x.Thefirstacademicinstitutionthatachildattendsiscalledelementaryschool.Insomeschoolsystems,elementaryschoolincludesgradesonethrougheight.Thenextfouryearsarecalledhighschool.Inotherschoolsystems,therearethreedivisions:elementaryschool(gradesonethroughsix)Juniorhighschool(gra
