5、iftedatarateof−7K/mol%CeatomandthepermittivitymaximumdecreasedwithincreasingCecontent.ThetemperatureandfrequencydependenceofthepermittivitywasfittedbytheCurie–Weisslawbeyondthetransitiontemperatureandcharacterizedbyparametersthatareusedtodescriberelaxorbehaviour.1.IntroductionAserie
6、sofdielectricceramicswiththegeneralcompositionMBa3Ti2O8C,whichisintheBaO-richregionoftheBaO–M2O3–TiO2(MDY,Nd,Sm,etc)system,hasbeenreportedbythepresentauthors[1,2].Thesesingle-phasecompoundsbelongtothehexagonalcrystalsystem.WhenMDCe,theresultsofx-raydiffraction(XRD)analysisindicate
7、thatCeBa3Ti2O8Cbelongstothetetragonalsystem.Inaddition,itwasrecognizedthatthecompositionCeBa3Ti2O8CwasformedbyasolidsolutionofBaTiO3andBaCeO3.Basedontheseobservations,aseriesofBa(Ti1−xCex)O3ceramicswassynthesized[3].TheXRDresultsindicatethatthelimitofsolidsolubilityisaboutxD0:30w
