5、N),CTSr(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3(SZN),CTNdAlO3(NA)andCTLaGaO3(LG)solidsolutionsceramicsseries.Thecontributionofextrinsiclosseshasbeenanalysedbyextrapolationofthefar-IRandterahertzdielectricdatadowntotheMWrangeandcomparisonwithdirectlymeasureddata.Thisprocedurehasalsobeenjustifiedbycomparingt
6、helossesinCTandLGceramicswiththelossesintheircrystallineformspublishedintheliterature.Thecompositionaldependencesofthepermittivityandtemperaturecoefficientontheresonancefrequencyhavebeenanalysedandfittedbyappropriateexpressions.WehavefoundthatinthecaseofCTNAandCTLGceramics,thebestfi
7、tscanbeobtainedusingaClausiusMossottiequationwithlinearlymixedpolarizabilities.Ontheotherhand,forCTSMNandCTSZNceramicstheLichteneckerlogarithmicruleandtheHashinShtrikmanexpressionhavebeenused.Weexplainthisdifferenceasaconsequenceofthedifferentcharacterofshort-rangeorderinginthest
