4、althermomechanicalsimulationoffrictionstirwelding(FSW)processesiscarriedoutforferriticstainlesssteelbyutilizinganEulerianfinitevolumemethodunderthesteadystatecondition,andthesimulationresultiscompareddirectlywithboththemeasuredtemperaturehistoriesduringFSWandt
5、hemicrostructuralchangesafterFSW.Basedonaviscoplasticself-consistentapproachforpolycrystal,thetexturedevelopmentintheFSWedmaterialisdeterminedfromthevelocitygradientsalongthestreamlinesinthematerialflowfield.Thesimulationresultsshowthattheheatisgeneratedmainlyn
6、eartheinterfacebetweenthetoolandthework-piece,andthattheviscositychangesdrasticallyinthevicinityoftheboundarybetweenthestirzoneandthethermomechanicallyaffectedzone.Fromthepredictedstreamlines,itcanbeindicatedthatthestrongmaterialflowmainlydevelopsontheretreatin
