4、ical/stericeffectsthatarethebasisofmuchandnistherefractiveindexoftheimmersionmaterial.Currentlyofmolecularbiology,aswellasthequantumphenomenawitha193-nmexcimerlasersourceandH2Oimmersion,thisthatbecomedominantasthematerialscalebecomescompa-limitingdim

5、ensionis34nm.Withnonlinearspatialfrequencyrabletothewavefunctionsofelementaryexcitations:elec-multiplicationtechniques,thislimitisextendedbyfactorsof1/2,1/3,etc.extendingwellintothenanoscaleregime.ILprovidestrons,holes,photons,spinwaves,magneticexci
