3、May21,2010Coppernanowires(NWs)withuniformdiametersandlengthsrangingfromseveralhundredsofnanometerstoseveralmicrometershavebeenpreparedwithhighyieldbyasimplehydrothermalprocedure.TheX-raydiffraction(XRD)andenergydispersiveX-rayspectroscopy(EDS)analysisdataindicatethatthecoppernanowir

4、esarefreeofanycontamination,whiletheelectrondiffraction(ED)analysishasrevealedthenanowirestobesinglecrystals.Thenanowiregrowthmechanismhasalsobeendiscussed.Hexadecylamineisthesurfacestabilizingagentinourmethod,whileglucosefacilitatesformationofsingle-crystallineseedsonwhichthecopper
