2、rmed.InSPS,thisinformationisdefinedinafilecalledtheINTRANfile.ThisfileisanASCIIfilethatisbothcreatedandeditedbyyou.ThissectionshowshowtousetheINTRANfiletodefinewhatkindofsimulationistobeperformed,definecontrollogic,andscheduleeventsbasedontimeorotherevents.Thisse

3、ctionalsodemonstrateshowtostartupthesimulationprogram,TRANS,andcorrectsomecommonmistakes.Forafulldefinitionofthecommands,seetheHelpandReference.TocreatetheINTRANfile,anystandardtexteditorcanbeused.ThefilenamefortheINTRANfileshouldendwiththesuffixINTRAN(i.e.acme.i

4、ntran).Thecharactersequence/*isstillusedtocommentouttherestofaline.OneadditionalrequirementisthatalllettersmustbeinUPPERCASE.DefininggeneralinformationintheINTRANfilePresentedbelowareshortdiscussionsofsomeofthegeneraldirectivescommonlyusedintheINTRANfile.Thesecom

5、mandscontrolthetypeofsimulationTRANSperformsandhowithandlesthedata.BEGINTheveryfirstlineofeveryINTRANfilemustcontainthisline.Whilethislinecanbeusedtospecifysometimerelatedparametersandtheerrortoleranceforthecalculations,itiscommontousetheform"BEGIN0",whichnormall

6、ystartsthesimulationfromtheRESTRTfile(whichisgeneratedbyPREPR).ThesimulationendtimeisalsospecifiedwiththeBEGINstatement.TRENDLISTThiscommandisusedtospecifywhichtypesofdatashouldberecordedtotheREVIEWfile.Avalueiswrittenforeachvariablespecifiedforeachtimesteptaken.
