3、professionaldevelopmentinChinaisthattheprofessionalizationoftheteachersinruralareasfortheyhavetakenupmorethanhalfofthewholegroupofEFLteachers.ThiscurrentstudytakestheprimaryandsecondaryEFLteachersinruralareasinsouthernJiangxiassamples,applyingthemethodofl

4、iteraturereview,empiricalstudy,statisticanalysisandrelatedstatisticscomparision,toinvestigatethestatusquooftheobjects’professionaldevelopment.Thedetailedstatisticsandanalysiscouldbeofsupporttofurtherstudyinthisfield.ThesamplesareprimaryandsecondaryEFLteac

5、herswhoparticipatedtheNationalTrainingProgrammeforsoutherJiangxiEFLteachers.ThiscurrentstudyiscomposedmainlyofthesurveyofthestatusquooftheprimaryandsecondaryEFLteachersinruralareas.Thesurveyconsistsofquestionairesoffivedimensions:perisonalinformation,lear

6、ningstrategiesandtimemanagement,workingcontext,PCKinterestsandunderstandinglevel,andprofessionalobstaclesandcountermeasures.Surveyresultssuggestthat:1)thesamplestendtobeyoungerandmorefemaleinformation;2)thevariableofobjects’professionaltitleissimilartotha

7、toftherelatedliterature,butthematch-majoredpercentageismuchbetterthanthatofeasternHenan,LongnanandLanzhou;3)morethanhalfoftheobjectswritepost-teachingjournals,buttheyhavenotformedsystemeticreflectivepractice.Thereflectivepracticeformtheychooseisofrelative

8、lylowerform;4)thestatusquoofessayspublished,projectsundertaken,academicliteraturereadingandborrowingisawful;5)thecomputerandinternetsituationintheobjects’workingplaceisbadwhilethatoflivingplaceispositivemorethan90%.
