4、tocorrectlyunderstandQian’struemeaningsinhisliteraryworks.Sofar,somescholarshavestudieditfromdifferentperspectivesasliterature,linguisticsandstylistics.However,theirstudiesarenotsosatisfactorythattheexplanationsarenotforcefulenoughtoobtainthefinaleffect.Forthisspeci
5、alreason,thisthesistriestoanalyzethelanguagevariationinTheMarginaliaofLifefromtheperspectiveofadaptationtheory,whichaimstoachieveabetterexplanationandinterpretationtowardsthisspecificliteraryworks.Thisthesisholdstheviewthatlanguagevariationwhichdeviatesfromthenormla
