2、seffectivegeneticmarkers.Todate,about200microsatellitelociwerefoundincervidsbytransferringmicrosatellitePCRprimersderivedinbovine,ovinetocervids,aswellasafewlocideriveddirectlyfromdeermicrosatellitelibrary.Theselocihavebeenusedinparent-agedetermination,geneticdiv
3、ersityandpopulationstructure,populationintrogression,asgeneticmarkergesta-tionlengthandwinteringsurvivaletal.However,microsatellitelocipresentlyfoundareuntouchabletothedemandofapplication.Futureworkshouldinclude:1)isolatingalargenumberofcervinemicrosatelliteloci,
