3、goodqualityofsynthesizedspeechinarule-basedproductionandperceptionstudyofsyntacticinformationandasynthesis,detailedandaccuratesegmentalandsuprasegmentalphraseboundary,phoneticcuestotheperceptionofboundariesrulesforagiventextarenecessary.Especially,muchworko
4、nthecanbeexpectedtobepuresilentinterval[3],lengthenedvowelsatprosodicstructureisneeded.Thegoalofthisstudyistoexaminetheendof(syntactic)phrases[6,10]andintonationpattern[1].rolesofsyntacticinformation,intonationpattern,andphrasefinalThisstudy,asapreliminarys
5、tudyforbuildingcomputationallengtheninginformationofprosodicunitsorperceptionofamodelsofpauseassignmentinspeechsynthesisofKorean,phraseboundary.Itinvestigates(a)whetherlocationoffocusesonfiguringoutrolesofsuchphoneticfeaturesin(perceived)pauseoraphrasebound
6、ary,oneofthephoneticperceptionofphraseboundariesinKorean.Itinvestigates(a)aspectsofprosody,issyntacticallydeterminedand(b)howwhatkindsofphoneticfeaturesdeterminethelocationofphoneticfeaturessuchasasilenceinterval,intonationpattern,and(perceived)pause(b)howt
