1、AbstractGrapheneisatwo.dimensional(2D)crystalconsistingofasinglelayerofsp"hybridizedcarbonatomsarrangedinsix-memberedrings.Ithasfascinatedthealmostmaterialscientificcommunityduetoitsextraordinarypropertiesandpotentialapplications.Firstly,wehaveexploredtheoptimumconditionsofthesynthesisof
2、few—layeredgraphene.AccordingtothecharacterizationresultsofSEMandXRD,wecanfindthattheefficientexfoliationofthegraphiterequiresahighercurrentdensityinI-12-Hebuffergases.However,whenthearccurrentistoomuchhigh,thesamplesareeasytosinterandagglomerate,andas-obtainedgraphenehavealargethickness
3、andinhomogeneity.Onlywhenthevolumecontentofhydrogenrangesfrom25%to75%incontainingH2buffergases,fewer-layerdgraphenenanosheetswithhighqulityCanbeenachievedbyarcdischargemethod.Inaddition,totalpressurehavelittleeffectonthemorphologyandstructuresofthegrapheneinI-I:。Hebuffergases,onlysomedif
4、ferencesinthesizeofthegraphenenanosheets,andthelesstotalpressure,thesmallersize.Secondly,wehaveinvestigatedtheinfluenceofdifferentbuffergasesonsynthesisofgraphene.Tobeginwith,few—layeredgraphenesheetsweresynthesizedbYdirectcurrentarcdischargeusingdifferentbuffergases.Then,Avarietyofchara
5、cterizationsofthesampleswereconducted,suchasSEM,TEM,AFM,Raman,BETandTGA(thermogravimetricanalysis)et.a1.Moreover,thehydrophobilityandthefieldemissionpropertiesofthesprayed—coatinggraphenefilmspreparedbyadirectsolutionprocesswerestudied.Asaresult,thegenerationofgraphenesheetsshowsstrongde
6、pendenceonthecompositionofbuffergasesandcontainingI-12buffergasesarenecessarytopreparefew—layeredgraphenesheets.ThegraphenesheetsproducedinH2.HebuffergaseshavebettercrystallinityandhigherspecificsurfaceareacomparedwiththoseproducedinotherscontainingHEbuffergases.T11eas.obtainedgraphenesh
7、eetsaremainlynomorethan5layersandtheirlateraldimensionsareabout40.200nm.Thegraphenesheetsshowexcellentthermalstabilityandthereisonlylessthan3wt.%weightlossupto800oCinN2atmosphere.ThegraphenesheetsCanbeeasilydispersedintoethanolandtheas-obtainedsuspensioncanbestableformore
