3、idelydocumented.Althoughthedevelopmentofthetourismindustrycancreatenewemploymentopportunities,itisoftencriticisedforprovidingprimarilylow-skilledandlow-payingjobs.Iftoday’sstudentsaretobecometheeffectivepractitionersoftomorrow,itisfundamentaltounderstandtheirperceptionsoftourismemployment.T

4、hispaperfocusesonasampleof450Turkishstudentsstudyingtourismatuniversitylevelinordertoanalysetheirperceptionstowardstourismcareers.Theresultsshowedthat,overall,therespondents’perceptionsareneitherfavourablenorunfavourable.Thefindingsalsoindicatedthat:willingnesstostudytourism;willingnesstowo
