3、thedangerofdisappearance,andmoreattentionshouldbepaidtotheprotectionoftheseuniqueresources.Properutilizationisgoodfortheprotectionofancientdwellinghouses,andtourismisgenerallyac-knowledgedasaneffectivewayforthepurposesofbothutilizationandprotection.Inrecentye
4、ars,withthevigorousdevelopmentoftourismindustry,ancientdwellinghouses'tourismalsodevelopsrapidly.Inthispa-per,withthepurposeofprotectingancientdwellinghouses,focusingonthenewdevelopmentpatternsofpro-tectionandutilization,usingthemethodsofempiricalanalysisandc
5、omparativestudy,fromtwodifferentas-pectsofprotectionandutilization,aquadrantmodelofprotectiionandutilizationofancientdwellinghousesinHUIZhouAreaisconstructed.Fromtheaspectofprotection,twopatternscanbedividedaccordingtowhetherchangingtheoriginallocationofancie
6、ntdwellinghouses,whichareprotectionattheoriginalloca-tionsandprotectionbymovingtotheotherlocations.Fromtheaspectofutilization,high-degreeutilizationpatternandlow-degreeutilizationpatternaredivided.Intheoriginallocations,accordingtothelevelofuti-lization,wecan
7、gettwopatterns,whicharedevelopingsightseeingtourismattheoriginallocationsandfunc-tionaltransformationattheoriginallocations.Afterelaboratingthecontentsofthesepatterns,forthebetterprotectionandutilizationoftheancientdwellinghousesinthefuture,somesuggestionsand
