6、enerationapplicationsrequiresthedevelopmentof®lesystemsthatcanef®cientlymanagethestorageandretrievalofmultipledatatypes(referredtoasintegratedmultimedia®lesystems).Mostexisting®lesystemshavebeenoptimizedforasingledatatype.Forinstance,conventional®lesystemshavebeenoptimizedforthestoragea
