5、odevelopandtesttheoriesofdecisionsupport”[1].ItdoesseemtousthattodaythefundamentalchallengefacedbyDSSresearchisnotsomuchinadvancingthedeploymenttechnologybut,rather,infurtheringdecisionsupporttheory.Indeed,ourresearchinterestshaverecentlyshiftedfromthemereexplorationoflates
6、ttechnologyapplicationstowardtheinvestigationofDSSarchitecturesandthedecisionmakingprocessitself.Thispaperlargelyreflectsthisshift,aimingtopresenttheoutcomeofourmostrecentattemptstocontributetotheDSStheorybydeveloping,testingandvalidatingavarietyofpotentialDSSarchitectures.
