2、入，试图从犹太民族史和犹太教传统中提炼出一种“格托精神”，认为其在抵制异质文化浸染、保持民族性、净化犹太人的道德思想上起到不可忽视的作用。并以此作为方法论，着重分析辛格的六部具有代表性的短篇小说，同时对其中呈现的坚守“格托精神”与背弃“格托精神”这两种迥然不同的现象进行深入的探讨，最后得出结论：犹太人唯有信仰上帝、恪守习俗、维护契约，以“格托精神”为本，犹太民族才有复兴的希望。如果犹太人忘记了本民族的历史和自身的犹太身份，背弃“格托精神”，那么他们在走出格托后必定会遭遇种种坎坷，最后落魄而终。现代犹太人只有守护犹太宗教和历史文化传统，坚持犹太身份，依赖“格托精神”，才能获得
