3、rrelationmechanism[J.Phys.Condens.Matter(2002)]isnecessary.AgreementbetweenpredictionsandobservationsrevealsthattheSi-Sisurfacebondcontractsmoresignificantly(by~30%)forthesmallestSinanosolidofwhichthePLblueshiftcorrespondsdirectlytotheriseofsinglebond-energyofthesurfaceatomwithmuchloweredcoord
