4、gTCPflowsandproposeaschemetorouters.throttleaggressivewired-to-wirelessTCPflowsattheInternetOnesolutionforthisproblemliesinsplittingtheTCPgatewaytoachievenearlyoptimalfairness.Thus,wedenotetheconnectionatthenodeinterfacingthewiredandwirelesspartoftheintroducedcongestioncontrolschemeTCPwithG

5、atewayAdaptivenetwork,denotedastheInternetgateway.Insuchasplit-connectionPacing(TCP-GAP).Forwireless-to-wiredflows,weproposeanapproach,aspecializedtransportprotocollikeATP[15]mayruninadaptivepacingschemeattheTCPsender.IncontrasttopreviousthewirelesspartwhereasthewiredpartusesstandardTCP,e.g

6、.work,TCP-GAPdoesnotimposeanycontroltrafficoverheadforTCPNewReno.However,astraightforwardsplit-connectionachievingfairnessamongactiveTCPflows.Moreover,TCP-GAPapproachdoesnotpreservetheend-to-endsemanticsofTCPandcanbeincrementallydeployedbecauseitdoesnotrequireanyrequirescomplicatedhandoverp
