2、diaNewYork2014AbstractPoorindoorcoverageandhighcostofcellularnetworkoperatorsareamongthemainmotivationsfortheemploymentoffemtocellnetworks.Sincefemtoaccesspoints(FAPs)andmacrocellssharesamespectrumresources,radioresourceallocationisanimpor-tantchallengeinOFDMAfemtocellnetw

3、orks.MitigatinginterferenceandimprovingfairnessamongFAPsarethemainobjectivesinpreviousresourceallocationmethods.However,themaindrawbackisthatuserlevelfairnesshasnotbeenadequatelyaddressedinthepreviousmethods,andmoreover,mostofthemsufferfrominefficientutilizationofradioresou

4、rces.Inthispaper,modelingtheproblemasagraphmulti-coloring,acentralizedalgorithmisproposedtoobtainbothuserlevelfairnessandspectrumefficiency.Thismethodemploysapriority-basedgreedycoloringalgorithminordertoincreasethereusefactorandcon-sequentlythespectrumefficiency.Moreover,in

5、situationswherethenumberofavailableOFDMresourcesisnotsufficient,theproposedmethodemploysanovelfairnessindextofairlysharethoseremainingresourcesamongusersofFAPs.Theperformancecomparisonbetweentheproposedandpreviousmethodsshowsthattheproposedmethodimprovesthebalancebetweenuse
