2、sstudy,wehaveinvestigatedthechangesinbrainactivitythatareinducedbyworkingmemorytraining.Twoexperimentswerecarriedoutinwhichhealthy,adulthumansubjectspracticedworkingmemorytasksfor5weeks.Brainactivitywasmeasuredwithfunctionalmagneticresonanceimaging(fMRI)befo
3、re,duringandaftertraining.Aftertraining,brainactivitythatwasrelatedtoworkingmemoryincreasedinthemiddlefrontalgyrusandsuperiorandinferiorparietalcortices.Thechangesincorticalactivitycouldbeevidenceoftraining-inducedplasticityintheneuralsystemsthatunderliework
