3、theMicro-singlebubblecontinuestogrowtooccupythesizeofgravityScienceGlovebox(MSG)oftheInternationalthechamberwithoutdepartingfromtheheatersurface.SpaceStation(ISS).TheBXFFacilitywascarriedtoDuringlateralmergerofbubbles,athighsuperheatsISSonSpaceShuttleMissionSTS–133onFebruary24,alarg

4、ebubblemayliftofffromthesurfacebutcon-2011.NucleatePoolBoilingExperiment(NPBX)wastinuestohovernearthesurface.NeighboringbubblesoneofthetwoexperimentshousedintheBXF.Resultsarecontinuouslypulledintothelargebubble.Atlowofexperimentsonsinglebubbledynamics(e.g.,incep-superheatsbubblesatn

5、eighboringsitessimplymergetotionandgrowth),multiplebubbledynamics(lateralyieldalargerbubble.Thelargerbubblemostlylocatesmergeranddeparture,ifany),nucleatepoolboilinginthemiddleoftheheatedsurfaceandservesasaheattransfer,andcriticalheatfluxaredescribed.Invaporsink.Thelattermodecontinu

6、estopersistwhentheexperimentsPerfluoro-n-hexanewasusedastheboilingisoccurringallovertheheatersurface.Heattestliquid.Thesystempressurewasvariedfrom51tofluxesforsteadystatenucleateboilingandcriticalheat243kPa,pooltemperaturewasvariedfrom30◦to59◦C,fluxesarefoundtobemuchlowerthanthoseob

7、tainedandtestsurfacetemperaturewasvariedfrom40◦tounderearthnormalgravityconditions.Thedataare80◦C.Thetestsurfacewasapolishedaluminumdiscusefulforcalibrationofresultsofnumericalsimula-(1mmthick,89.5mmindiameter)heatedfrombelowtions.Anycorrelationsthataredevelopedfornucleatewithstrain
