3、arisestheinterestsoflinguists.Duringrecentyears,manyresearchersdevotethemselvestodisclosethesourcesofmisunderstandingandquitealotofviewshavebeenputforward,whichbringsUSmuchnearertotheintrinsicsourceofmisunderstanding.Basedonthesepreviousresearches,thecurrentstudyendea
4、vorstofurtherinvestigatetheintrinsiccausesofmisunderstandingfromacognitivepsychologicalperspective.RepresentatiVenessheuristicputforwardbyKahnemanandTversky,isatypeofcognitivebiaswhichcaninfluenceanindividual’Sjudgmentandreasoning.Thepresentstudycomesupwithsuchahypoth
5、esisthatitistheinterferenceofrepresentatiVenessheuristicthatleadstothedivergenceofreasoningfromtheidealpragmaticmodel,whichisoneofthesystematicandintrinsicsourcesoftheinevitabilityofmisunderstandinginverbalcommunication.Inordertomaketheviewofthestudymorepersuasive,the
6、presentstudyvalidatesthehypothesisbyaquestionnaire-orientedmethod.Thequestionnaireisdesignedonthebasisofthematerialscollectedfromthepreviousrelatedliteratureandtheconversationsindailycommunication.Thereare130subjectstestedbythequestionnaires,butthevalidonesare10.Witht
7、hehelpofSPSS,thestudyverifiesthehypothesisbyanalyzingthedataofeachquestioninthequestionnaireandthatofthewholequestionnaire.Becauseofthelimitedabilityoftheauthor,therearestillmanylimRationsinthecurrentstudy,however,researchonthecausesofmisunderstandingfromthecognitivep
8、sychologicalperspectiveisarelativelynewresearchapproach,andmaydeepenourcomprehensionofthesourcesofmisunderstanding.Keywords:
