2、unteredbyHRMincludethetransformationfromthefunctionoftraditionalpersonneladministrationtothatofstrategichumanresourcemanagement(SHRM).SHRMisaburgeoningmanagementideaandmethod,whichcombinesHRMandstrategicmanagement.Ononehand,itrequestsHRMandstrategyshouldkeep
3、dynamiccooperationduringstrategyimplementation;ontheotherhand,humanresourcefunctionsshouldactasa“strategicpartners”throughplanning,makingpoliciesandexecution,andcreateanappropriateenvironment.However.10tsofcompanieshavenotwalkedouttrulyfromtheconstraintsofol
4、dconceptsofHRM.TheHRMstaffisstillbindingthejmselveswiththeoldmanagementmannersandmethods.Theyareinsevereshortageofknowledge,orientationandresearchoftheSH跳.Theycopythemanagementmodelsofforeigncompanieswithoutmakingnecessaryadjustment,whichhaveresultedinthefai
5、luresoftheHRMontheonehandandshorttermismoftheHRMstaffontheotherhand.Inordertosolvea1ltheseproblems,improvethestatusofSHRM,andbringtheSHRMintofullplay,weneedtocarryoutathoroughdiscussionandresearchontheSHRMsystematically.Therearemanyquestionswhichcallforourde
6、epanalyzingandstudying,suchasthefollowings:therelationshipbetweenHRMandbusinessstrategy,howdotheyinfluenceeachotherandcombinetoformSHRM,therelationshipbetweenHRMandstrategiccompetitivesuperiority,andhowtoconstructtheSHRMpattern.ChapterOneintroducesthebackgro
