2、enciesofIndonesianQuantitySurveyoraswellasitsorientationtowardglobalpracticeinitsareaofexpertise.Inthismatterthesubjectisdefinedintotwoparts:First,ThelegalreferenceOfIndonesiaconstructionlawandotherrelatedlawsorregulations,andsecondly,theSubstanceofthecomp

3、etenciesitselfwhichalmosttotallyfollowstheInternationalStandards.TheIndonesiaNationalConstructionServicesDevelopmentBoard(LPJK/CSDB)istheonlyconstructionagencyresponsibleforthiswhichcarryingitsfunctionasstatedinlawno-18:year1999:onconstructionservices,with

4、allattachedgovernmentregulations.Asforthesubstanceofthecompetencyitself,Indonesiahasadopted1(one)CompetencyforQuantitySurveyorEngineer(TenagaAhli)and1(one)CompetencyforQuantitySurveyortechnicianforbuilding(TenagaTrampil).Adoptionisapprovedafterthesubjectis

5、presentedattheNationalConventionparticipatedbyrelatedstakeholders(Government,ConstructionAssociation,University/expertandPublic).Bothadoptionwereapprovedconsecutivelyinyear2005andyear2006.10I.LegalFrameWorkItiswellstatedinthelawthatLPJKhastheauthoritytocon
