2、l(LMPC)maynotalwaysobtainsatisfactorycontrolresults.Predictivecontrolbasednonlinearmodel(NMPC)hasbecomeanimportantresearchissueinthecontrolengineeringfieds.Modelpredictivecontrolmethodsfortwoclassesofnonlinearsystems,namely,nonlineardiscretestochasticsystemsw

3、ithactuatorsaturationandnonlinearquadraticsystemsarestudiesinthispaper.Stabilityanalysisoftheproposedpredictivecontrolmethodsisgiven,whilethevalidityoftheproposedcontrolmethodsisverifiedviasimulationexperiments.Themaincontentsareoutlinedasfollows:1.Themodelp

4、redictivecontrolisinvestigatedfornonlineardiscretestochasticsystemswithactuatorsaturation.Theactuatorsaturation,randomnonlinearityandexternaldisturbancessimultaneouslyareincludedinthiscontrolledsystems.Thesaturationfunctionisdecomposedintoalinearandanonlinea

5、rpartbyusingthesectorconditions,andthestochasticnonlinearityisdescribedbystatisticalmeans.BasedontheLyapunovstabilitytheoremandlinearmatrixinequality(LMI)technique,sufficientconditionsaregiventoguaranteetheperformanceandthestochasticstabilityofclosed-loopsy

6、stem.Finally,asimulationexampleisemployedtoshowthefeasibilityandeffectivenessofthemodelpredictivecontrolmethod.2.Themodelpredictivecontrolisinvestigatedfornonlineardiscretequadraticsystems.Foragivenpolytopicinitialfeasibleset,astatefeedbackmodelpredictiveco

7、ntrollerisdesigned,sufficientconditionsfortheclosed-loopsystemstobestableandcostfunctiontobeminimumarederivedbyusinglinearmatrixinequalities.BasedonLyapunovtheorem,thefeasibilityoftheproposedmodelpredictivecontrolalgorithmandthestabilityoftheclosed-loopsystem
