3、hispaper,aflexibleactiveandreactivepowercontrolstrategyisdeveloped,suchthattheoptimaltorque-speedprofileoftheturbinecanbefollowedandoverallreactivepowercanbecontrolled,whilethemachinecopperlosseshaveFig.1.PowerflowofSlipPowerRecoverySystem.beenminimized.Atthesametime,harmon
4、icsinjectedintothepowernetworkhasalsobeenminimized.Inthismanner,thesystemcanfunctionasbothahigh-efficientpowergeneratorandsingly-excitedadjustablespeeddrivebysimplethyristorrecti-aflexiblereactivepowercompensator.fierusinganinnovativedcreactorcircuit.Itisagoodexampleofcost-
5、reductionforpowerregenerationofhigh-powerdrives.I.INTRODUCTIONForageneratingsystem,however,thisschemewouldnotbeARIABLE-SPEEDconstant-frequency(VSCF)powerawisechoiceifreactivepowercontrolisrequired.[4]hadVgeneratingisdesirableinmanysituations.Asalientdevelopedastatorfieldori
6、entedcontrolforthedoubly-excitedexampleisthewindpowergeneration,whereturbinespeedinductiongenerator,inwhichboththeactiveandreactiveshouldbeabletovaryaccordingtothewindspeed,suchthatpowerofthestatorarecontrolledbyaPWMregulatedcurrentenergyefficiencycanBeimprovedwithareducedt
7、orsionalintherotorcircuit.Ithadalsobeenshownthattheconceptstressandwindagefrictiononthewindmillblades.Whileinin[4]isapplicabletothedoubly-excitedbrushlessreluctancevariablespeed,thesystemoutputvoltageshouldbemaintainedmachine[5].ataconstantfrequencytointerfacewiththepowersy
