3、isdesignedtoinitiatefluxweakeningonlywhennecessarybyrecognizingthethresholdconditionsforcurrentregulatorsaturation,makingthealgorithminherentlyadaptivetochangesintheinverterbusvoltage.A6kW42Vautomotiveintegratedstarter/alternator(ISA)usingadirect-driveIPMmachineservesasthetargeta

4、pplicationforthisdevelopment.TorqueconverterSimulationresultsshowthatthenewalgorithmiscapableofinsiderotorhubFlywheel,alternator,starter,pulley,&deliveringverygoodstaticanddynamicbusregulationpossiblyabelteliminatedcharacteristicsovera10:1engineoperatingspeedrange.Testsarepresent
