2、tolanguageforteachingfirstyearprogrammingcoursesatengageourstudents.ThestudentsweseetodayhavebeenInstitutesofTechnologyandPolytechnics(ITP)inNewcalledtheNintendoGeneration.SuchstudentsareZealand.TheprimarybenefitofadoptingVBisthatacontinuallyexposedtofast-pacedsound,g
3、raphics,noviceprogrammercanrapidlylearnenoughVBtoanimationandgames.ItcanbearguedthatthesearetheproduceimpressivelookingGUIprogram(Tanall&kindsofthingsthatNintendoGenerationstudentswanttoDavey,2001).IthasbeenclaimedthatVBisthesimplestdevelopwhenlearningComputerScience.
4、Asaresult,programminglanguagefordevelopingthecommoncomputerprogrammingeducatorshavestartedtouseWindowsapplicationsandthatthequalityofapplicationsgamestoengageandmotivatestudentswhoarelearningdevelopedinVBcanbeashighasthosedevelopedinprogramming.However,therearedifficu
5、ltiesinteachingC++(Sink,2002).novicestoprogramusinggames.Inmanycases,itistoocomplicatedfornovicestobeginprogrammingwiththeRecentresearchhasshownthatteachingVBusingtheextensivepackages,libraries,andavailableOOlanguagesdynamicvisualization(Hu,2004)offlowchartsandcodewhe
6、ntheyarerequiredtodevelopgames.Moreover,themakesiteasierforstudentstoobtainimmediatefeedbackgamesdevelopmentseemtrivialtotheNintendoonvariablesbasedonthestep-by-stepexecutionundergenerationifwedonotincludeAI.Unfortunately,AIprogramcontrol.Additionally,itwasfoundthatus
