3、ight,andtheirthermally-drivencis-to-transrecoverywereocarriedoutthroughheatingirradiatedsamplesinthewater-bathat40C.Cyclic-azobenzenehadhighertrans-to-cisratesandslowercis-to-transratesthanitsprecursor.Besides,unlikethecyclic-azobenzene,thePcyclic-AzoMMAshowsmuchsmallercis-to-transrates.(C)Thef
4、luorescentemissionoflinear-azobenzeneandcyclic-azobenzeneinTHFsolutionswereinvestigatedbeforeandafterirradiationwith365nmUVlight.Thecyclic-azobenzenehasstrongerfluorescenceemissionthanitslinearprecursoratroomtemperature.AftertheUVlightirradiation,thefluorescenceintensitiesofthecyclic-andlinear-
