2、2Cthermaldilatometer,STA449F3thermalanalyzerwereemployedtotestthemechanicpropertiesathightemperature,linearexpansioncoefficient,DSCandCpcurveof304.Atthesametime,analysingtheeffectsofthethermologypropertiesandthemechanicalpropertiesforthequalityof304s
3、tainlesssteelslab,identfyingthecracingsensitivity,associatingwiththeprocessingtechniqueofcasting,optimizingtheprimaryprocessingtechnique,hopingtoachievedecreasingthedefectsofslab,likesurfacecrackandpitflaw.Theresultsofmechanicpropertiesathightemperat
4、ureindicatedthetensilestrengthandyieldstrengthdecreasedwithtemperatureincreasingduringthe7001400℃.Thetensilestrengthwasbelow25Mpaandtheyieldstrengthwas20Mpawhenthetemperaturewasabove1200℃.Itindicatesthattheabilityofslabtoresisttwistingatexternalforc
5、ebacameworseathightemperature.Thefirstbrittlenesstemperaturewas1300℃tomeltingtemperatureandthethirdbrittlenesstemperaturewas950~1050℃.Intherangeof1050~1250℃,thereductionofareawasover65%,thehotductilitywaswell.Thesurfacedefectsofslabwhichwaslocatedint
6、hesecondarycoolingareasandcontinuousstraighteningareascandecreaseeffectivelywhenthesurfacetemperatureofslabwascontrolledabove1050℃.Theresultsofthermrologypropertiesathightemperatureindicatedtherangeoflinear-6-6-6expansionwas18.86×10~21.34×10andthecon
7、tractioncoefficientwas18.57×10~-624.24×10.Thecoefficientsofexpansionandcontractionof304stainlesssteelareonthe-6wholegreaterthan2Cr13martensiticstainlesssteel(α=12.08×10)and20CrMostructural-6alloysteel(α=14.05×10).Sothe304stainlesssteelbelongstocracks
