3、rovisionsArticle1ThisLawisenactedwithaviewtoencouragingandsupportingpeasantsandagriculturalproductionandoperationorganizationstouseadvancedandapplicableagriculturalmachines,promotingthemechanizationofagricultureanddevelopingmodernagriculture.Article2

4、ForpurposesofthisLaw,mechanizationofagriculturemeanstheprocessofimprovingtheconditionsofagriculturalproductionandoperationandcontinuallyraisingthetechnologicallevelofagriculturalproductionandincreasingtheeconomicandecologicalbenefitsofagriculturebyeq

5、uippingagriculturewithadvancedandapplicableagriculturalmachines.ForpurposesofthisLaw,agriculturalmachinesmeanthemachinesandequipmentusedforagriculturalproduction,primaryprocessingofagriculturalproductsandotheractivitiesrelatingtofarming.Article3Peopl

6、e'sgovernmentsatorabovethecountylevelshallincorporatethepromotionofagriculturalmechanizationintotheirplansofnationaleconomicandsocialdevelopment,andtakesuchmeasuresasfinancialsupport,preferentialtaxationpolicyasprescribedbytheStateandfinancialaid,in8

7、ordertograduallyincreasecapitalinputintothemechanizationofagriculture,givefullplaytotheroleofmarketmechanism,andpromotethedevelopmentofagriculturalmechanizationincompliancewiththeprinciplesofadaptingtolocalconditions,ensuringeconomicresults,guarantee

8、ingsafetyandprotectingtheenvironment.Article4TheStateprovidesguidanceandsupporttopeasantsandagriculturalproductionandoperationorganizationsintheireffortstoselectadvancedandapplicableagriculturalmachinesontheirown.Nounitsorindividualsshallcompelpeasan
