2、(160and480mg/kg)duringpuberty.Inaddition,pubertalBPAexposureevokedtheactivationofcaspase-8andcaspase-3intestes.ToinvestigatewhetherthemitochondrialsignalingpathwaywereinvolvedinBPA-mediatedgermcellapoptosisintestes,weanalyzedtherelativeproteinexpressioninthem
3、itochondrialsignalingpathwaybyimmunoblotting.ThecurrentresultsshowedthatpubertalBPAexposurecausedthetranslocationofcytochromec(Cytc)frommitochondriaintocytosol.Inaddition,pubertalBPAexposuremarkedlyupregulatedthelevelofBaxandactivecaspase-9inmousetestes.Furth
4、erstudyindicatedthatpubertalBPAexposuresignificantlyupregulatedtheexpressionofBaxintestesinadose-dependentmanner.Importantly,thelevelofBaxinmitochondrialfractionsoftesticularlysateswassignificantlyincreasedinmiceexposedtoBPAduringpuberty.Unexpectedly,pubertal
5、BPAexposuredidnotreduceproteinleveloftheantiapoptoticmemberBcl-2intestes.Actually,theexpressionofBcl-2wasslightlyupregulatedintestesofmiceexposedtoahighdoseofBPAduringpuberty.However,theratiooftheproapoptoticmemberBaxvstheantiapoptoticmemberBcl-2wassignifican
