3、ebaseprotocolschemetosupportmobility.TheseextensionsarebasedonthecomponentintheIETFNextStepsInSignaling(NSIS)protocolideaofdiscoveringQoS-awarenodesalongthedatapathbystacktosupportavarietyofsignalingapplications.Inthispaperusingend-to-endaddressedmessages(mostlyequippedwithwep

4、resentourstudyontheprotocoloverheadandperformanceaspectsofGIST.Wequantifynetwork-layerprotocoloverheadaRouterAlertoption)thatdeliverQoSparametersandrelyandobservetheeffectsofenhancedmodularityandsecurityinonaflowidentifiertoselectasignalingsessionstate.InGIST.Wedevelopedafirstope

5、nsourceGISTimplementationaddition,protocolcomplexityhasbeenissuesespeciallydueattheUniversityofGottingen,andstudyitsperformanceina¨tothesupportformulticastflows[20].ThesedesignprinciplesLinuxtestbed.AGISTnodeserving45,000signalingsessionshavebeenasourceoflimitedflexibility,secur

6、ityandmobility.isfoundtoconsumesmallamountsofCPUandmemory(onaverage1.1msforprocessingasignalingmessageand2.4KBMoreimportantly,althoughtheseapproachesindividuallymaymemoryforasession).IndividualroutinesintheGISTcodearemeettheneedsofcertainsignalingpurposes,theylackaninstrumente

7、dtoobtainadetailedprofileoftheircontributionstoextensibleframeworkwhichallowseasyextensionsforfuturetheoverallsystemprocessing.Importantfactorsindeterminingsignalingapplications.Thus,theseapproachesrequireashiftperformance,suchasthenumberofsessions,statemanagement,toanewgeneric
