2、elopmentofleisuresportsinGuangzhou,itfoundthattheresourcesofleisuresportsinGuangzhouhavedevelopedandutilizedtoacertaindegree.Peoplehavemoreinterestsinleisuresports,especiallythesuccessofthe2008BeijingOlympicGamesandthecomingofthe2010GuangzhouAsianGames.Guangzhoucitizens’enthusiasmisstim
3、ulatedandithasbecamearushforpeopletojoininthenationwidefitnesscampaign,whichgivesleisuresportsanopportunitythatitneverhadbeforeinGuangzhou.However,comparedwiththegrowingdemandsforleisuresportsfromcitizens,thereexistlotsofproblemsintheresourcedevelopmentofleisuresportsinGuangzhou,suchast
4、helowutilizationrateofstadiumandtheincompleteindustrialpoliciesforleisuresports.Besides,somedepartmentsignorethedevelopmentofleisuresports,lackingofscientificplaningandmanagementandtheunderstandingofthesustainabledevelopmentofresourcessothatthepresentandpotentialresourcesofleisuresports
5、isstillunderdeveloped.Theseproblemsaffectthedevelopmentofleisuresportsinvaryingdegrees.AccordingtothedevelopmentstatusofleisuresportsinGuangzhou,byploughingthroughthedocuments,makingquestionnairesurveys,interviewingexperts,coductingfieldinvestigationgs,thethesisshowsthatweshouldtakethef
6、ollowingmeasurestopromotethesportsresourcesdevelopmentinGuangzhouthroughfourmainheadings,namelysportsfacilitiesresources,humanresources,imformationresources,industryresourcesandtouristresources.(1)MakinggooduseofthenewopportunityofhostingtheAsianGames,improvingschoolsportsfacilitiesandc
