2、2摘要英国杂志《经济学人》有160多年的历史，在国际政治经济领域享有较高的知名度。本文节选了2011年第三季度《经济学人》英国(Britain)栏目中的79篇文章为样本。在对其中出现的文化词汇进行归纳和分类后，发现政治与经济词汇和法律与教育词汇出现的频率高。除此之外，也有部分宗教与历史词汇。大部分政治经济词汇、法律词汇和宗教与历史词汇的所指意义和联想意义都属于一种语言所特有。本文在研究这些词汇如何翻译的同时，就其使用的翻译策略进行了归纳和分析。我们发现大部分政治与经济词汇、法律词汇和宗教与历史词汇宜采用加注法来翻译；一部分政治与经济词汇可采用解释法；而
